Healing Communities of Color through Education and Community Care

Our Mission

GRACE Learning Village provides secure learning environments for Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC) youth and families. We also seek to create opportunities for BIPOC youth and concerned adults to increase awareness and engagement with our communities’ various social, economic, and political issues. It is our goal to enhance individual and collective capacity for positive and progressive change in our local communities and society as a whole.

WHO WE SERVE

Modern Creative Office

BIPOC

We believe that

HEALING BIPOC communities

from the traumatic effects of systemic (& evolving) racism, white supremacy culture, toxic patriarchy and the dehumanization of capitalism is the PREREQUISITE

 for LIBERTY and JUSTICE

for BIPOC in the US.

We believe that LIBERTY  and JUSTICE for BIPOC in the US

is most likely to occur

WITHIN communities of color,

led by BIPOC.

Happy Family

DETROIT, MI

Initially, we intend to collaborate with low and moderate income families of color in Detroit, Michigan

Among the country’s 50 largest cities, Detroit had the highest rate of children living in high poverty areas, at 72%.

However, in the last 3 years, there has been a 50% increase in the number of Detroit-based companies.
